sadly note the death of our members, James Meehan and Irene Berger. Jim’s funeral will be at OLGC Forestville – 10.30am Monday 12 October.I’d like to thank Vice President Grahame for keeping things ticking over while Pam and I were tripping overseas. A great adventure for us, Morocco, Italy and a short visit to Switzeland and Germany. Pam insists that this was our last overseas tour. Perhaps until the next one.
Past President Rob Beaton and Jan held a Trivia Quiz Lunch 30 September. Very well organised as we would expect from Rob, but not very well attended so I have been told.
Our secretary Carolyn will be collecting names for our annual Christmas Lunch at the meeting. It is a pity that we have not yet had any volunteers stepup to manage this function and if we don’t have the numbers for the Lunch, your Committee has decided to cancel it for this year.
